REFLAUNT

Netfigo Verdict
on Reflaunt

Reflaunt is doing for luxury fashion what Trove does for outdoor gear — but with a European accent and an Asian head office. Stephanie Crespin built resale integrations for Balenciaga, Harvey Nichols, and Stella McCartney before most luxury houses would admit their customers bought secondhand at all. The Singapore base gives her a foothold in Asia's booming preloved luxury market. Small funding, big-name clients, and a market that is only getting more serious about circular fashion.

THE ORIGIN STORY

Stephanie Crespin spent years in luxury fashion and saw a gap: high-end brands wanted to participate in resale but refused to be associated with generic secondhand platforms. She founded Reflaunt in Singapore in 2018 to give luxury and premium brands a white-label resale solution that looked and felt like part of the original brand.

The first client was Harvey Nichols in the UK.

WHAT THEY ACTUALLY DO

White-label resale technology licensing plus transaction fees. Brands pay Reflaunt to embed a resale module inside their own website or app.

Customers who want to resell an item use the brand's own tool — Reflaunt powers the backend. The platform connects sellers with buyers while the brand earns a commission on each transaction and keeps all customer data.

THE PRODUCTS

["White-label brand resale platform", "Peer-to-peer luxury resale tools", "Brand loyalty and credit integration for resale", "API resale infrastructure for existing brand e-commerce", "Analytics for brand resale programs"]

HOW THEY GREW

Win luxury fashion houses in Europe and expand into Asia through the Singapore office. The Asia angle is strategic — China, Japan, and Southeast Asia have massive and rapidly growing preloved luxury markets.

Reflaunt also partners with existing luxury resale platforms like Vestiaire Collective to give its brand clients access to a broader buyer pool.

THE HARD PART

Luxury brands are culturally slow to change. Getting a major fashion house to openly promote secondhand versions of their products requires convincing multiple stakeholders that resale enhances rather than dilutes the brand.

The sales cycle is long, relationship-driven, and often requires C-suite endorsement.
