Sometimes I feel like I'm managing the X-Men Academy.

When Fred and I started Paradigm five years ago, there was no master plan. What we had was a shared curiosity for the future, deep conviction in crypto, and a desire to advance the frontier of what's possible.

I am excited to announce that I am joining Paradigm as a Research Partner, to help Matt Huang, Fred Ehrsam, and Charlie Noyes build a new kind of investment firm.

Another thing that drew me to this opportunity is Paradigm's long-term perspective, and their commitment to pushing the entire industry forward by investing in basic research.
