Blockchains are digital organisms. As organisms evolve through changes in their DNA, blockchain protocols evolve through changes in their code.

I invest in protocols, not companies. The token is the network.

A lot of what is happening in the ecosystem is at the frontier of cryptography and protocol design and token economic design. These are not trivial things to do.

This time around, the protocols are fat and the applications are thin.
