My natural state is an outsider. I've always been an outsider.

I wear the same plaid shirt to every conference. People make fun of it. But I'd rather be known for building reliable infrastructure than for my wardrobe.

I would rather be wrong and interesting than right and boring. The world has enough boring fund managers.
