My biggest mistakes have always been selling too early. When you find a true compounder, the correct holding period is almost always longer than you think.

Don't be in too much of a hurry to sell.

Don't get emotionally attached to any asset. Everything I own is for sale at the right price.

Knowing when to sell is harder than knowing when to buy. Most people get that backwards.

Once you find a good reason to buy, stay with it unless you find an equally good reason to sell.

Investors cash in their good stocks to hold their losers. It is like cutting your flowers and watering your weeds.
