In the world I see, you're going to have a WeWork on every corner. We are here in order to change the world. Nothing less than that interests me.

I compared myself to Steve Jobs in an interview. I called juice "the internet of food." I understand now that those statements did not help.

I ran Disney Studios. I co-founded DreamWorks. I know entertainment. I raised $1.75 billion for Quibi and it lasted six months. Turns out I didn't know mobile.

This is what happens when you work to change things. First they think you're crazy, then they fight you, and then all of a sudden you change the world.

I wore the same black turtleneck every day. People compared me to Steve Jobs. The difference is Steve Jobs had a product that worked.

Sequoia backed us. Temasek backed us. Every name-brand investor in Asia wrote us a check. When that much money comes in that fast, it can make you believe you are infallible. You are not.

Tiger Global gave us 768 million dollars in a single round. That kind of money makes you think you can conquer the world. You cannot.

We had 150 million users. Tiger Global invested. BlackRock invested. I thought we were invincible. Nobody is invincible.

We raised $2 billion. In hindsight, that made us feel invincible when we should have felt cautious.
